AI JOE, LLC (“AI JOE”, “Company,” “we,” or “us”) is committed to safeguarding your personal information, military service history, and any sensitive documentation you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your data when you interact with our platform or services.
We take your privacy seriously. As a veteran-first company, we handle your information with the same care and security we would expect for our own.
AI JOE, LLC is not currently subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), because we do not meet any of the statutory applicability thresholds, including but not limited to annual gross revenue, volume of personal information processed regarding California residents, or the percentage of revenue derived from selling or sharing personal information. Nevertheless, we recognize the importance of transparency and consumer trust and have chosen, as a matter of discretion and good practice, to incorporate certain CCPA-inspired principles into our privacy program.
What this means for you
Transparency: We describe the categories of personal information we collect, the purposes for which we use it, and the categories of third parties with whom we disclose it.
Choice and Control: Where feasible, we provide mechanisms to limit certain uses and disclosures of your information, including an option to opt out of marketing communications and, when applicable to our practices, targeted advertising.
Access and Deletion (Discretionary): Although not legally required under the CCPA, we will make reasonable efforts to honor verifiable requests from individuals to access or delete personal information that we maintain about them, subject to applicable legal exceptions, our records management practices, and technical feasibility.
Non-Discrimination: If you choose to exercise any of the above discretionary options, we will not unlawfully discriminate against you for doing so.
Data Security: We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information.
Important limitations
No Admission of Legal Coverage: Our voluntary adoption of these measures does not constitute an admission that the CCPA applies to us or that we are a “business” as defined by the CCPA.
Scope and Availability: These voluntary measures may be limited to certain data sets, processing activities, or geographies and may be modified or discontinued at our discretion and without prior notice, consistent with applicable law.
Conflicts with Law: Where honoring a request would conflict with legal obligations, litigation holds, security needs, or the rights of others, we may deny or limit the request.
How to make a request
Submission: You may submit an access or deletion request by emailing support@aijoeclaims.com or by calling (530) 426-2509. Please include sufficient information to verify your identity and locate your records.
Verification: To protect privacy and security, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before acting on your request. If we cannot verify your request, we may ask for additional information or decline the request.
Response Time: We aim to respond within 45 days of receiving a verifiable request and may extend once by 45 days when reasonably necessary, in which case we will notify you of the extension and reasons.
Updates to this section: We may revise this section from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The effective date of the current version is [June 16, 2026]. If we make material changes to the voluntary measures described here, we will update this notice accordingly.
Any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this policy.
